I'm late on the scene, Woo, sorry!! Yes, Iceberg is a lovely rose and has a well deserved reputation. Is the pic in Jpeg or Raw???

I like your rose too Woo. It looks like it has an irridescence or is that just the rain drops?

My daughter lives in Canada and she has just been given two roses as a gift. 'Hot Cocoa' which is red and 'Molineux' which is yellow. I have tracked down 'Molineux' which seems to be British grown but can't find the other one on the internet so perhaps it's American. Any ideas please? :)

I think you might find the name has been distorted in use and the rose could be "Hot Chocolate" which is a red rose......and very nice too!:snork:

Hi Sheal this is Hot Cocoa 2003 all American Rose:dbgrtmb:

Gardeners will be debating the color of Hot Cocoa, a very novel brownish-orange Floribunda washed with smoke on the top and a deep rusty orange on the underside. How about “smoky chocolate orange?”

In any case, people of all ages are attracted to Hot Cocoa, whose pointed buds of deep rust unfurl to reveal the color that some call “cinnamon brown” and which often takes on a purply cast.
Large four-inch flowers,25 to 30 Petals, hold their color and tolerate heat very well. Tom Carruth hybridized this vigorous, disease-resistant rose by crossing Playboy and Altissimo with Livin’ Easy. Weeks Wholesale Rose Grower is the introducer.

Such a charming photo! I love how the raindrops are hugging, and emphasising, the petals; an almost irradescent quality.

Good evening, Cherub; thank you, my comments are neither "lovely" nor otherwise; they are always 'heartfelt'; it is a charming photo and has a story behind it that is only visable through a well thought out camera lense, taken at just the right moment: as you have done! :dbgrtmb:

Thank you Woo for the details on my daughters roses. :dbgrtmb: She lives in an apartment and has them on her balcony, I just hope they do well for her in pots. :)

I will get her to send pictures when the buds have opened.
