I can't sing, dance, or whistle, Sian, and I've always wanted to draw, paint, or play a musical instrument so seeing such talent makes me appreciate it even more.......and that's my kind of Art.
Having said that, I'm not jealous in the least bit..............

                  I'm impressed.

I've a lot of interests, but I don't think I excel at anything. I used to paint in oils but never really finished anything as I get bored easily. But my wife has always liked this one, so it's on the the wall of the hall landing, where I don't see it too often.

On the subject of musical instruments.

I play my leccy piano, mostly to make backing tracks for my tenor sax. A lot of tunes I can busk. It's just a hobby I play only for my own amusement. If anyone ever asks me to play, I just stick on one of my recordings of my playing I've made in the past.
I subscribe to a dedicated message board for Yamaha electric piano players. Mine's pretty basic now, it's a PSR 1000 nearly twenty years old. Some have really sophisticated ones.

We all upload tracks for others to hear on "Box." I guess it's mostly older people given the repertoires, but I wish most wouldn't try to sing along as they're usually terrible.

I've about 200 recordings on "Box" through vintage pop, jazz standards and Motown.

I like using the "jazz chords" on some tunes like this example.

                    There's so many great "standards."

                    I'll stop now.

I'm thinking of upgrading to a Tyros 5. There's plenty on eBay, for around two grand or less, with the speakers, given the age of many users, "probably inherited."

                      Catch them young.
None of our kids were good at painting and drawing, but all the grandkids have picked up a bit of what little ability I had.

Our youngest two grandaughters at six and ten. They're very bright, best friends. They share all their drawing and painting materials and often combine to produce something. They even both sit on the same chair when they are drawing.
I remember the older one drawing something and the youngest one asked "Can I colour it in?"
Her sister Hmmd a bit until the younger one said. "It'll be alright, I won't go over the lines."

So talented @Sian in Belgium :love30:. I on the other hand have zero talent wielding any kind of drawing/ painting implement:rolleyespink:. Was not bad with a tennis racket and golf club, probably would have got on better using those to produce any kind of art! Must be wonderful to draw so well, I wouldn't know:frown: but seriously jealous:)

I've been hiding from the sun in the afternoons, during this heat.

Thank you @strongylodon for allowing me to use your photo for reference - a wonderfully relaxing way to spend a couple of hours!
