Looking back on what plants I bought I do have a Sedum, Sedum Spathulifolium cape bianco, where I bought this from there was lots of similar type of plants, I will call in and grab some tomorrow.

I agree with Pete two plants, I think Paul has nailed one and checking on the other it has been giving me a headache looking closely at them to compare, so the jury's still out on that one ATM :heehee:

Oh nice one @martin-f I have some of the glauca but I haven't found them hardy here. zone 8.. I overwinter mine in the greenhouse.. I have similar to Platts black only mine Rust something and that overwinter fine.. Not got blue elf. Just check the hardiness and away you go. I found them not so hardy where I live so overwinter mine in a cold greenhouse with frost protection...

Thank you Marley, i love the platts black ive moved a few things around and put it next to the blue grass, i think they will mingle together nice once they start growing,

I did check the hardiness the glauca and sedora is semi hardy, platts black is hardy, my garden is south facing and there placed in a sheltered location so they should be ok :fingers crossed:,

The small slope is just about full now no room for anything else :frown:,

I do have a area left that needs landscaping, i might be tempted to make a larger rockery/bog garden and fill it with Alpines ive seen some beautiful examples over the last few days :).

Thank you Marley, I'm pleased with how things are coming along, to say it was even worse than this when we moved in, no fence to the right full of trees brambles nettles etc, its coming on a treat :).

"Pleased"! "Pleased"!? :thud::thud: Talk about *under* statement  :slaphead:

I've always remembered when you first posted - to be honest, I thought "Oh ho" :shakehead:

Nothing: I mean - NO THING - could have prepared me for how you have thrown yourself into changing that barren landscape into a wild-life friendly, flourishing, bounty of hard work, inspired, colourful, tranquil oasis of "come and get me" gardening haven! In such a short time too!!

If I had one tenth of your DIY skills I would be a happy person! As it is, I'm an ad hoc gardener with humble aspirations. You, my lad, are one canny guy! Pleased my biscuit! :waggy: You should be as proud as Punch! :snooty:
