Can you ID this very very prolific weed . It grows like billy-o in a couple of my flower beds. No sooner have I removed it , then a couple of days later it springs up again and again......:wallbanging:

As Zigs say don't get the milky sap on your skin, I made a mistake weeding them earlier this year, I was wearing some lightweight breathable gloves but the sap found it's way through and a couple of days later my hands came up in blisters. I still have the scars 3 months later. My hands are pretty tough, like most gardeners, so I'd hate to think what it would do to your eyes or naughty bits :)

Thanks all for the ID :blue thumb: So Spurge it is . I always wear light gloves when gardening , but I have never noticed any sap on these plants.
@Victoria , I was going to let a clump flower but Silver surfer has showed it is actually flowering.
I have never known anything so prolific ! Next season I'll glyphosate the flower beds before I plant my annuals.

I've got tons of spurge too. It loves to grow anywhere. I like that it looks like little trees but completely don't like how crazy it takes everything over...

I am sure I've weeded them in the past without gloves, must be getting more sensitive in my dotage

I was once told the sap was good for getting rid of warts, Don't have warts myself:smile:, but it does tend to work if you persevere, got lots of it here, so maybe I should market it.
