ideas for a specimen plant needed

    Lots of ideas there, chaps!
    Just to clarify, I DON'T want a spikey plant!

    Just come back from Abbotsbury Gardens today - it's blissfully serene there!

    OK, so I've bought a Eucryphia Nymansay, and the Coprosma I was talking about the other day. I also bought a cornus for the back of one of my beds, and had to be led out of the nursery by a very firm hand before I bought yet more!

    Glad you like the Eucryphia, Lynne - it's absolutely gorgeous! And that coprosma looks very interesting - I've left a print out about it strategically tempting me.......

    Good job somebody is on control of the budget there! :D
