    I’ve grown this from seed Lychnis Coronaria ‘Angels Blush ‘ our 19yr old grand-daughter is named Angel !

      I was thinking of Fig before I made this thread. I was going to put it in a pot so he can curse it as much as he likes then. :loll:

          There again, if you just planted @Tidemark 's suggestion of Bishop's Weed, aka ground elder, you'd not need to bother with anything else!

            Biblical gardens are more popular on the continent, some churches have their attempts on the grounds.

            Maybe pick a small number of useful plants. We get a small number of figs in hampshire. Grapes are fun to do but need netting from birds, we eat the leaves more than the fruit because a local blackbird gobbles it unripe :rolleyespink:
