                Don't look then! :psnp:

Close your eyes and ... focus!
Not on them, not on what they are doing ... heck! Focus on an orgasmic night with Daz if it helps ... just do not think about what you saw on YouTube!!! :wallbanging:

OMG I made a similar mistake and saw about 30 seconds on youtube of what gets done to you in hip replacement surgery (which I was just about to have) before I clicked it off. The hammer and chisel was bad but when the surgeon started wielding the saw...............:yikes: Big mistake, definitely ignorance is bliss for these types of thing. Good luck and sure you'll be back to normal very quickly. Let us know how you get on.

I have learnt that when it comes to medical issues - stay away from the internet!

A few years ago, I had a scare that turned out to be nothing. But looked online and really freaked myself out with what I read.

Since then, I stay well away

Good Luck Joolz and hope everything turns out ok for you.Once it has been done your life will get back to normal and you will soon be right as rain:grphg:

If it was me I would skip going into work because you might have to wear an eye patch for a day or two plus you don't want to get any dirt or bacteria going into the wound. Are they knocking you out or are you having it done by a local?

Us women do enough for everyone else in our lives so it won't hurt for you to be spoilt for a day or two:smile:

I had blocked tear ducts in both my eyes around fifteen years (found out since it runs in the family)Unfortunately mine got a Streptococcle(sp) so we found out later in mine so had to go into isolation at the local hospital and was pumped full of drugs for four days to try and clear up the infection.Surffice it to say I eventually had to have a procedure called a Dacrystorhionstomy(DCR) done in both eyes once the infection was clear.I won't tell you how they got out the tube after a few months but it involved the nose and some of those bent scissors:biggrin:

I can laugh about it now but at the time it was pretty horrendous and I still get the watery eyes so have come to live with it and buy plenty of tissues.:biggrin:I have photos somewhere that I got Mr Kandy to take to show family and friends what the infection looked like, although I was more worried about losing my sight than having the ops done.

There was no such thing as camera phones or you tube videos in those days:smile:

Believe my when I say if I can go through with it and come out ok the other end so can you because no one can be more squeamish about eyes than me:biggrin:

                                Yo Joolz,
I hope all went well @joolz68

Years ago, I had an eye infection, and had to have my tear duct syringed.
If I recall correctly, it was a trainee / newly trained nurse, and was under supervision still.
She told the senior nurse that she couldn't do it because she couldn't find the right size tube, but the senior nurse said that she would just have to use what she had (a bigger size), and to just be more brutal .
It felt like having a needle going into the center of my head !
I could tell when she had cleared it, because the juices ran clear (right down my throat :frown: ). It did the trick though :blue thumb:.

The thing I always think about before an op or procedure, is that hundreds of people go through these things and are fine :).
If I really struggle, I shift up a gear and think of the poor kids you see on TV and the awful things that they suffer at times , and how brave they are.
Then I call myself a wuss :snork:.
