Yes, either. Also growing onions underneath them helps a lot.

My Grampy always grew Nasturtiums with his broad beans - not a deterant, more of an irresistible alternative. They would be growing at ground level covered in blackfly whilst the beans towered over them completely clean!

I've never really thought of nasturtium as a decoy plant, but it makes a lot of sense. Lots of pests like nasturtium but nasturtium can, in my experience at least, take it. It grows so vigorously that any damage done by pests never really accounts for very much of the plant as a whole.

I always grow nasturtium and apart from this year with all the slugs and snails because of the miserable weather, I don't really get much trouble with pests. Maybe I have the nasturtium to thank for that.

No. They've been erased from history. They simply don't exist anywhere. I've searched every drawer, every cupboard, the shed, the utility room, the greenhouse, the boot of my car (which often serves as a second shed), even my tool box. They're gone.

Nope. I have a quantum singularity in my house. As quantum singularities are infinitely small, it is impossible to observe it directly, it must be observed by its effects. My box of seeds fell into the singularity and has by now seeded a parallel universe made entirely out of flowers and veg. I know that sounds far fetched, but when you eliminate the impossible, all that remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.

Whilst that is a perfectly plausible explanation for this phenomena, the answer may be rather more simple. It is not common knowledge, but Slartibartfast has been welcomed back by the Magrathean powers that be and is now employed as a covert operative by their CSCS (Covert Seed Collection Service). It is responsible for collecting genetic material for use by the flora design team on all their latest planetry creations.
It is easy to protect yourself from this pilfering. As is well known the answer to life, the universe and everything is 42 so never keep seeds in any quantity where the number is in any way whatsoever associated with 42.
I hope that this helps.:blue thumb:

I think that Clueless would never have had the problem if he had drunk his Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster after putting the seeds away safely. This can be corrected by using the GC Helicopter. :dbgrtmb:

Perhaps he should jump into the Heart of Gold and deploy the infinite improbability drive to rectify the situation. In all probability it should work.
