I'm sure I should know what this is

    Sorry to confuse everyone about the flowering time. It does have one flower on it now, but it also had one in the spring! It hasn't produced the mass of flowers I saw when I admired it in the donor's garden, which I think must have been late summer.

    And I had a bit of a giggle about its 'sheltered' position - 700 feet up in the teeth of the prevailing north-westerlies!

    Sometimes when things are still relatively newly moved, they flower at odd times. If it got through last winter, hopefully it will go from strength to strength from now on!
