Growing some again this year, I kept the roots / tubers from last year, but they never grew
again, I was storing them like I would a Dahlia tuber.

They are quite easy to grow, but take about 2 - 3 weeks to germinate, when you see them
show their heads, even then they are slow for a few weeks, but then start to grow
quite quickly............germination rate is very good, I sowed 6 seeds this year
              and 5 made it :)

Also in the pic, you can see the Goji berries growing behind the Cucamelon, and then the Calaloo. The tray behind is full of Chilli plants :D

That looks like around 30 plants, making me feel inadequate again having only sown 3 pots. I wonder if more than one seed could be left in the pot if they all germinate?

P.S. I hope the fish are OK.

I plan to sell whatever plants I have left over (and I'm giving some to people on the allotment as well) so I wasn't worried about growing too many, I just sowed every seed in the pack.

Also, as said before, by growing in plugs, you can grow so many plants in such a small space, and when it comes to potting up, you won't damage the roots as much.

With regards to the fish, unfortunately the tank had a wipeout around 18 months ago and it was sitting empty of everything (water included) and I just had a brain wave that I should use it for the plants due to the lights being on a timer.

Also growing Tomatillos this year as well (they are the tall plants on the Right hand side of the full tank shot), the same applies to them, I'll sell what I don't want/need.

They're now showing through in under 6 days since sowing.
