It`s possibly to late now anyway, I bought mine from "Suttons Seeds" just checked and they are still available.

Two little plug-plants arrived today - totally unsolicited from Suttons Seeds ? - Anyway they are now in the garden alongside the ridge cucumber plant in a little netting frame - we shall see what develops !!

I've got a few of these on the go, not sure they are for outdoor growing, but might be wrong.
They certainly aint the strongest plants I've come across, and appear to be very weedy and straggly , other than that, wonderful.

what the best ay to tie them up - I keep winding the tendrils round a cane and they unwind them selves

Not got a clue yet, sorry - I was thinking of a cane 'tripod' with string criss-crossed around to offer a bit of a playground for them

Are you winding them the "right" way, most plants follow the sun, beans for example, however go anti clock wise, I wish mine were big enough to worry about tendrils. :rolleyespink:

I have tied string near the cucamelon and have tied it to a higher point near one of the supporting rails (the same as I have done for my cucumbers as well)

Here's mine (well, it is actually two plants) :-

Well after a promising start my cucamelons are a bit underwhelming. Hopefully they'll bulk up later on. I moved them to a slightly warmer part of the greenhouse so that might make a difference but I wish they'd get a wiggle on.

I'm hoping that next year they'll be great as they are supposed to form tubers that we can start off with more energy stored up:)
