    :thumb: Oh Woo.. Uncle Bert is a fantastic bloom..!! Just perfect. Does it have a scent? I am waiting patiently for my Elizabeth Arden to flower which is pink also, it has a very delicate scent, but a big blousey bloom...;):)

    Same here, searched Google, growers lists, Help me Find, and Rose Locator; the only matches on Google were for Elizabeth Arden rose perfume and eau de toilette.

    Intrigue deepens, the thot plickens, we have a right to know..

    Hi Pal It could be one of about 15 ,But I will put my head on the Block and go for1. (Peace) Created in 1942 ,The other two Roses in the Photo keep Throwing me off the Scent.:confused::D:)

    Hi Woo,we saw an Arthur Bell rose in flower this afternoon and the smell was fantastic though they wanted £12.99 for it.I think that was a wee bit to expensive,though for Wyvale that is probably the right price.:rolleyes:

    Pal,I would go along with Woo and it looks very much like Peace which I have in my garden though it has never done well since we bought it.:(

    Hi Scotkat and Kandy This Rose Peace Has sold over 100,000,000 the best ever selling Rose,Its name was changed in 1945 at the end of the War,and cuttings was sent to every Allied country from France where it originated,where its raiser C Meilland named it after his Mother Claudia but then he changed it to Peace (created in 1939-1945) Kandy Yes Arthur Bell a Truly Beautiful Rose (Yellow) Bred by McGredy in Ireland 1965 (Parents were Clare Glammerstorf x Piccadilly)Sorry about this I get carried away sometimes.:D:)

    WOO..all the roses in the picture are on the same bush:)
    The lady that gave me her roses was Scottish and she tended to buy ones from/connected to, that neck of the woods.
    As you can see the growth is very strong and she never gets any sprays etc;...built in resistance,must be?
