Took these this evening, hence a bit dark as the sun has gone behind the hill.

Fred Loads, rampant as ever, the book says about 6', this one regularly goes above 9' even with heavy pruning, dazzlingly bright red in the sun, good scent too.

Fred again with an unknown pink in the foreground, another prolific bloomer throughout the summer and autumn, rarely grows above 4', not much scent, any ideas on the name?.

Fred as a backdrop to Maiden's Blush (only blooms for about 3 weeks being an old Alba variety) on the left and Q Elizabeth on the right which blooms throughout the summer and autumn.

The only two roses I have in my garden are rescuees(if thats a word) one red and one yellow, I bought them reduced because they looked as if there was no hope for them 50p each. OH thought I'd lost my marbles, but they are doing me proud now.02

This rambler, "Perennial Blue" certainly is a fine show at the moment, supposedly repeating, it didn't last year, so hope that was just getting settled time. It opens a definite red to my eye then turns mauve, but hardly blue!
