    I had a surprise yesterday when I spotted a tiny frog on a stone at the edge of the pond!!!! Now we have 3!!!! YAY!!!!!!! :D :D :D

    Had three slow worms in our polytunnel, 2 adults and one of the previous babies now maturing going grey(!) lost it's golden colour,
    must get some more pics (unless I've frightened them away!) [​IMG]

    Just thought I'd show this, I moved a pot today on the allotment and there he was. I think there are lots of them here, I've seen adults around but they've gone before I can get my camera.
    So why are they called SLOW worms. :D

    Iv'e always wondered that pete, lots of them here at Southend Airport area, look like snakes but pink underside and only about 12 inches long. They like being under the shed in hot weather. ;)
