It isn't about the trampoline Sunshine P, it's about living with anti social behaviour and the lack of decency and respect from our neighbours.
I'm a firm believer that schools are there to educate not raise. If your ten yr old can't tell you what the answer to 4 times 2 is question the school, if that same ten yr old swears at the neighbours question the home environment.

In ten years time one of them will be living near you.

Totally agree, TO. Schools no longer have the sanctions available to enforce standards of behaviour unless the majority of the parents who send their kids there make sure they are used to doing as they're told!

Parents have to insist on standards from an early age, and apply discipline consistently - and all the time. My granddaughter knows full well that "No" means just that - and if she behaves badly, there are punishments. She's never been walloped in her life (except by other, out-of-control children!) but she knows the rules. And she's just two years old....

Gosh, Patricia, I do hope you didn't think anybody was suggesting you were like the awful neighbours discussed on this thread! Your lads look pretty good to me! Remind me of my own when they were that age in fact - and, having worked hard and played by the rules, they now have good degrees and lovely houses and families...!

Nobody living next door to kids can expect not to hear them - ours made a fair bit of noise at times - and there were four of them... so no surprises there!

No, we were taking about the ones whose parents have failed in just about every way and think they have a right to do just as they please.

And... can we come and watch you bounce????

Hi sunshine p [IMG] I`m sure everybody knows you weren,t being nasty. Boys will be boys and I have no doubt that your lads are the well behaved sort. I would send you a picture of the trampoline next door but my missus pointed out that you never know who is looking at these sights and it might start them off. I am sure that these are the kind of people who would try and sue me for using their picture without permission!!!!

I`m behind Mike :D but don`t tell the missus [IMG] [IMG]

    Hi Sunshine P,

Hope I didn't offend and as others have put well, it's about the bad un's this thread, not the ones you would enjoy living next to.
Can I join the queue for your trampoline although I'm not sure about who I want to be behind!

    [IMG] TO

Actually if Jake Gyllenhaal is ever in the area I'll share the trampoline with him but the rest of you can bounce off!

No, that's Johny Depp - Pirates of the Carribean.

Jake and I are yet to meet but that's ok because I'm not quite ready to settle down just yet.
