:D That's the one! Just wondering what to do next, up in sunny Scotland!! Think it'll be living in the greenhouse for a bit yet...... wait and see how the weather goes.

Yes, you are all too impatient! I did just go out and have a look at mine but of course nada, it really is too early still.

My big ones are sprouting buds though. Lol, our cuz says one of theirs is choc-full of blossoms and she is over the moon! She had to move the other one as it was not doing well.

I have two peach trees which I grow in big blue glazed pots. They're the terrace diamond and terrace garnet ones and lordy, do they crop well!
I planted them about this time last year, maybe a little earlier and I was stunned that they fruited last September. They're all in bloom at the moment, and I've covered them in their fleece jackets for tonight's forecasted Artic blast. I've given the pollination process something of a helping hand with a lovely soft makeup brush (courtesy of Lancome!)

    They're brilliant!

Well, my treelet has shot up so much I had to re-pot it - its about 7" now with loads of leaves!!! ......and the other good news - because I turned out the pot to get this one out, I discovered I have 2 more on the way (I just hope I haven't disturbed them too much!!) Thank you KG for your stones!!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Hi Lynne - how old were yours when you got them? I can't wait until we get some fruit!!! I did read somewhere that you should take off the first year's blossom, do you know if this is correct? If so, it'll be at least year 3 before we have anything!!! Patience isn't exactly one of my virtues!!!! [IMG]

Honey, K-G will be so pleased when she reads this tomorrow. You've done really well .. must say, better than me who have not had any of them shoot, but then again, I just left them out in the elements here!

Boa Pascoa ... and I still love those bunnies! [IMG]

I bought mine in Feb 2006 and they fruited in the same year! This year I will take off a few of the smaller fruit I think. Patience isn't one of my (few) virtues either!

    Hi and Happy Easter!

That is really great Honey Bee and I hope that they all continue to do well. I bet the boys are excited too!

We didn't take any blossoms off of ours in the first years, never heard of that in fact. But I think I mentioned that we didn't get any fruit the first year or two. Or rather, we got a few fruits but they fell off when they were about the size of an olive. This seems to be normal, so don't panic when/if it happens. Even when the trees get bigger and fruit properly, lots seem to fall off, so much so that I think there will be nothing left! However, we always end up with too much so that I have to give masses away. The trees themselves apparently take care of getting rid of "useless" fruits to give the others more room to develope.

Has anyone else had any luck so far?

Could someone take a photo of their ones and I'll go around my garden to see if I can spot where I put mine? I did exactly as instructed, including the forgetting! :D

Today I noticed that 2 of mine are peeking through. Hopefully some more will grow as we have 5 or 6 people wanting one.

Dendy, did you find where you put yours after all?

Anyone else having luck with them? I still have my fingers crossed for you all!

Plenty of small olive size fruits. What the water dosage like for these? Mine's in a pot the tree about 5' high at the mo. [IMG]

HI John, you obviously have a different peach tree but I guess the water dosage would be the same. Ours are all in the ground and we don't water as a rule, just if it stays dry too long then we give them a good watering when they are carrying fruit. I think you should see that yours doesn't dry out completely in this warm weather, give it a couple of liters a day.
