Thanks for posting all these pics, people!

I think the little plantlets I found are the right ones - I thought I'd put them in this particular pot, so that's always a good start! But they're nothing like as far advanced as all yours down south! There are 2 so far - watch this space, and I'll get a better photo than the one I sent K-G yesterday! :D

Thanks for bringing this back to the top, HoneyBee! I've just taken a photo of my little treelets - 4of them now, and the bigget ones are quite definitely identifiably the right thing! :D

Glad you have finally found yours dendy and they look exactly right!

Honey Bee, you'll have to bring the boys over here in September/October to eat some fresh.

Liz, have yours come up yet?

Our red peaches are coming along nicely. However, this year we will not have the bumper crop we had last year.

Liz, have yours, or at least one of them, come up yet?

Kedi, how do you keep the leaves looking so good.
My other peach trees and the red ones have all been attacked by leaf rolling aphid as usual.
I did the organic thing and left them for the ladybirds to take care of, result, most shoots now have dead or nearly dead leaves, and look a complete mess.
In the end I had to spray them, but really I should have done that in the first place, its now far too late.
Organic gardening never works for me. :( [IMG]

Hi Pete, we don't do anything. The only thing we have ever done (this was talked about somewhere on GC) was to gather the leaves affected by the peach tree curl and remove them from the garden (garbage bin NOT compost heap). We have never sprayed for it. Once the trees get bigger they are less and less plagued with it. The biggest/oldest tree (in pic) doesn't get it any more, apart from the odd one or two leaves. The 2 younger ones still do to some extent, but they are improving. Oh, in long dry periods, we have watered them. Otherwise, we just let them alone. Oh, we have never had aphids on ours.

Hope you get yours sorted out soon. Leave them a bit and they might recover. How big are your red ones now?

The red ones are growing fast, but only since I sprayed them, about a foot high now, in 5in pots. [IMG]

    I know it's Pete you're asking specifically, K-G, but here's a pic of mine - the 5th one is now up! :D

Think I'll have to pot them on soon!

Liz, did you ever get a "contribution"? If not, I'll send you some more stones this year.
