I through some seeds from some Tesco Chilli's into a pot and had lots of seedlings come up. That was September and I have 1 red and 1 green chilli on the plant now. The plant is only 15cm tall and the other seedlings are about to flower. It is worth just trying the seed in a Chilli from a supermarket and trying that - nothing to lose.

Personally hhave never heard of a cheyenne dwarf. Have you had a look at the litte elf chilli? Another dwarf variety bit less heat although variable and seeds are really cheap from premier seeds direct on ebay.

Id rate it probably the same as the numex twighlight which has a commercial rating of 2500shu which is approx half a jalapeno

PSD (premier seeds direct) on ebay, 99p+59p P+P, if not numex twilight are virtually the same and again a dwaf of sorts.
No problems anytime! Knowledge isn't knowledge, without being shared, it just becomes useless information.

Update - I bought some seed compost from Aldi for £1.50 on saturday. Managed to get a free 30 minutes on Sunday so got around to planting my seeds. Planted 12 seeds in total in my propagator. They are now sat on my window sill:

Give it plenty of light and warmth and it will come on well.

I've just had a nice lamb curry made with naga chillies :dbgrtmb:

            UPDATE:

I have shoots!!!!!! as you can see from my picture, three have popped up out of 12. It looks like there are another 2-3 on the way just under the soil. They should all hopefully be up within the next couple of days

Hi everyone, its been ages since i last logged on. I've been very busy!

update on the chillis, i kept 3 of the plants and gave the others away to friends and family. Mine are all around 30cm tall with an abundance of chillis. They are all an off yellow ish colour. I've been feeding them liquid seeweed once a week.

should i be feeding them something different to get the chillis to turn colour or is it just down to patience? (to save you reading back through this thread, i bought the little elf variety)

              thank you in advance
