January 25th is "Dydd Sant Dwynwen" (St Dwynwen's Day)
Dwynwen is the Welsh Patron Saint of Lovers (equivalent of St Valentine)
She is also the Patron Saint of sick animals.

Dydd Santes Dwynwen Hapus from Magnificent Me! The Master tells me this is the equivalent of Valentine’s Day in Wales. You might remember this picture of me, looking into one of the beautiful lakes there. Apparently, Saint Dwynwen was a 5th-century princess, whose tragic experience in love, led her to dedicate her life to god, and lovers everywhere. She sounds like a worthwhile mortal to me, so I wish my followers in Wales, and indeed everywhere, a very special day… Love, The Topiary Cat.
