dont know what you've been reading. Kaka is a devout christian, he's not a money man a vast sum of his wages goes to charities. It's been documented that 'he doesn't want to go' but do you really think we'd be following this through if that were the case? This transfer has been going on for 2 months in the background quietly when redknapp leaked it when he came across city officials in Milan. Milan want the money, Kaka is happy to go ONLY if we can guarantee him champions league football within 2 years, this is the stumbling block.
Rumour has it that a similar silent transfer is ongoing which hasn't been leaked so far, a certain prolific Spanish striker who plays in Serie A...

Shame the kaka deal fell through but hey we can use the money elsewhere. Still think we will get a big name in just this one will be done on the quiet to avoid all the press rubbish.

still complaining about heskey?! I think he will do well given the chance, but if results dont improve by the end of the season he will be out in the summer for a big name manager.

 

wasnt a bad window for us by all accounts, given was the best signing for me though. Villa are doing well, what a top manager o'neill is, shown up england bosses again!
