I'm quite often out until gone 11 p.m. and then working in the garden at sunrise.

Thank you for the compliment. It was good meeting you as well and I sincerely hope the meeting was not a one off.

As you can see, I've rectified the avatar. As I post under my name, I thought my piccie would be appropriate. Take care of yourself.

Pete. For me. Any place. Any time and I usually can oblige and doze off.

Bay tree is happily ensconced in a snuggish pot for now, with a view to moving it to a large barrel next spring once he has found his feet in the pot - thank you again for bringing me such a lovely, healthy wee sapling. You avatar looks great, and so nice to see.

Sorry @wiseowl  I have been very busy for the last two hours and it was remiss of me not to greet you earlier.

I try not to use the computer too early as the bright light from the computer screen may disturb Mrs Shiney's sleep. My office is next to the bedroom (at 90 degrees to it) and has a fully glass panelled door and we never close the bedroom door. :noidea: It depends on whether she's sleeping facing the door, or not.

                    Enjoy your day, everyone. :)

I'm still awake and about to make myself a cuppa.

I've just been having a chat with my bank and it took quite a while to get through :noidea:. I just left the phone on speaker and got on with other things. :)

@shiney, chatting with the bank sounds as bad as trying to chat to virgin media! In the past when I've finally got to speak to someone I've asked them to hold :snorky:
I hope you had an enjoyable weekend with your guests. I bet everyone loved it :)

I stay up later than I should. My wife works early in the morning so she goes to bed early. That gives me a bit of me time which I generally spend drinking coffee and surfing the internet. (Actually it's the same thing I do before she goes to bed too.) Anyway, I tend to get carried away a bit. Time passes quicker than you think. As I don't have to get up early I tend not to be tired at night. I am always aware it's probably not fare to disturb my wife too late at night when I do eventually go to bed. Maybe when I manage to get a regular job I will start going to bed at a sensible time.

                          G.

So why is he lazing around for that 4.5 hours? :heehee:

My little poem in post 13 is actually true. :blue thumb: I haven't been to bed in well over 10 years. A half hour doze in the armchair is usually sufficient. That's why I never get jet lag on all the long haul flights we go on - nor turn the heating off (it's kept at a comfortable temperature 24 hours a day). :)
