    Good, UTBG!

Thanks, Fancy, thought I'd have a change for a couple of weeks and have also added a wee bit to my signature to keep in the spirit! [IMG]

Where do you get the auroral info froggy?
I monitor a site but it's the non-visual phenomina I'm mainly interested in. The visual ones come as a bonus.

I don't want to hijack this thread as there has been some significant flooding round here. Perthshire has been hit pretty badly with up to 4" of rain in the last 24 hours. Hopefully none of my customers are too badly affected but some homes in Milnathort had to be evacuated overnight when a small river burst its banks. I'll know more when I go over there today.

Regarding aurora - I'll start another thread in Non-Gardening later on but the latest event is due to arrive at 6.00pm GMT - in the meantime anyone interested can go to Netweather Forum Space Science and Nature and look for the pinned thread "Aurora Predictions" or the topical thread "Solar and Aurora Activity"

Spaceweather.com is also a great place to start from

Apart from having plenty of pruning and clearing work I must agree that the sate of mind in the winter is not condusive to being out in the garden especially with all the rain we have had.
But - my 'forced' hyacinths are coming along very well, the conservatory is as full as my wife will allow with pelargonium cuttings and geraniums/fuschias/etc. and the man with the saw has been today and trimmed all the hedges.
Lots of Xmas shopping to do and a Xmas tree to erect tomorrow - I ove this time of the year!
