Is it too late to mow ?

    I did a few hours of mowing yesterday and have started tidying up the beds. Most of the leaves are down now.

    I took this photo early this morning. since then the sun has been shining most of the day but the forecast isn't good.

      No. They usually fly up onto the crossbar and eat from the top feeder but the also throw seeds out onto the ground for the others. All the birds, especially the greenfinches, are messy eaters and drop a lot so plenty of other birds come and scrounge them. Somewhere I have some pictures of the adult pheasants even managing to stand on the little feeding bars, on one leg, and eat from the feeder.

      Here are a couple of old pictures I've quickly found.
