IS IT WORTH STARTING A VEG PATCH IN SHADE?

    Quick research and I'm thinking of starting with Leeks, onions, swiss chard, spinach, arugula and lettuce and for the roots part probably beets, turnips, raddish, and potatoes.

    Any thoughts or tips would be very welcomed cause I'm definitely a novice.

      I do well with all of those and my plot is shaded by a girt ash tree most of the day :)
