Is my musa bajoo dead?

    My Musella Lasiocarpa is doing well several new leaves on it, wind knocking them about a bit today,hoping for flowers this year.

    My basjoos now have masses of 2in high shoots, even in the centre of the slimy mess, so dont give up hope.

    Woohoo - one of my "dead" basjoos has put up a new shoot from the ground over the weekend!! :yho::yho:

    I took Gaz's advice on the other large one and sawed it back (not a lot of resistance!) until I hit something solid. Just under that, and the squelchy mess was.... a baby shoot coming up from the side! :yho:

    Just shows that patience is definitely a virtue when it comes to gardens :D
