Is summer going to come ...

The forecast this morning said its going to be ' fairly nice' today! Must say its looking very overcast at the moment though.Had a duck landed in my garden yesterday . it must have thought all the waterlogged bits were a new pond!

 

It was lovely here - really warm. The last blackbird chick has fledged, so now momma bird has her work cut out for the next few days keeping track of her little ones to feed.

 

Roses, roses, roses!
Warm and sunny yesterday - rain and wind today! Plants do have to be tough don't they!

and this is Rosa rugosa that makes a superb hedge. The flowers don't last long or repeat, but what colour and the strongest perfume without being cloying
