I thought this was hilarious but sad at the same time. I think young people these days think it's cool to be thick, all their role models are certainly thick. You ask young people these days "who do you look up to?" and they'll tell you Kim Kardashian or some other brain dead celebrity!

It would be funny IF someone who has always used Sat Nav and never used an Atlas, went on a long journey say 300 miles and after 200 the Sat Nav packed up
They would have no idea where they were, how to get where they were going, or worse still how to get home :-)

The trouble is that a lot of men think that their tool with the biggest GiggleByte is all that matters! I hear them boasting about their size all the time. :heehee:

          Yes they do.
I still cost jobs in my head as I talk to the customer, still correct my spelling mistakes without spell checker and still play Scrabble to a very high standard (and score it without a calculator!).

But my biggest bugbear (off I go again) is the way that the education system fails our kids. They are taught to remember the subject, not understand it. They will recite any formula back to you in the blink of an eye, but give them three of the variables and the answer and they cannot give you the fourth variable. They're not thick, just no longer made to think. Rant over.
