The myth that birdseed food contains cannabis seeds is true but birdseed food usually contains the low THC level hemp seed, it's not illegal to buy hemp seed they use for fishing but it is usually sterile,I wouldn't like to try and convince the bill that it was low level cannabis you were growing and not the high t h c stuff it would be like trying to tell stork from butter.

I accidently grew some of this stuff this year after my bird table got blown over earlier in the year into my flower border.I potted up the seedlings thing they were verbena bonantenses{spelling} and when they got bigger Mr Kandy saw them and said thye looked iffy so I put up some photos on here and everyone said what it was.I went straight out and destroyed the plants so never did see whether they had flowers on them.:D

Found this growing in our local town square last year, when I pointed it out to the local constabulary, it was pulled up by the council the next day, shame.

it sure smelt like the real McCoy :thumb:

I grew some last year, from anglers hemp seed, it all germinated easily.

I've also seen large bags of the seed for sale as bird food.

But it is just hemp seed and not the interesting stuff.
