      funny thread ,

About 10 years ago when I was a gardener, one of my customers asked me to take the dead plant from her 18 years old son's balcony ( they had a roof garden and few balconies)
It was dead huge plant... I was too embarrassed to tell her what it was... as I was touching it a cloud of strong smell went from it...I had to take it down the lift and I was hoping not to bump to anyone with that massive one in my hand...

Sorted then. I'll grow what I like, then, if asked, say firmly that it's Hibiscus coccinueus, hemp agrimony or hellebore.

On second thoughts, best not mention hemp, hasn't it got a posh latin name to confuse them with?

Peter, next year, grow it down the bottom of the garden, maybe?

I was talking to the gardener last Thursday at the Hospice I work in as a volunteer. He was planting out wallflowers. "They look really strong and healthy plants," I said "much better than mine which are spindly by comparison".
"Ah", he replied" this lot were grown in the compost (90 bags) donated to the Hospice by the local police. Came from a Dover drugs raid apparently. Amazing stuff - never had plants grow like this before! Hope they can get loads more!!"
So, that's what we need - not this Verve rubbish!

So not only does it provide a perfectly balanced protein, fuel oil & will grow in the desert with no watering, we now find it provides an excellent compost.

And the reason for it still being illegal was?........

                Ziggy,
I read that "When we grow" documentary. It was interesting and enlightening as well. I think is it wrong that patients who suffer from neurological illness have to grow it covertly in order to get pain relief. To my mind, the NHS is wrong not to administer the correct prescription merely to keep within the confines of current laws. By banning it, the price has shot up, the quality on the black market is now suspect and the wrong people are selling it and for the wrong reasons,

Prohiibition in the 1920's in America led to the same dealer control of Alcohol, and we know the outcome of that.

Dealers now are taking the resin off the leaves & selling that separate, to replace the crystalised "look" that the leaves should have, they are sprinkling it with powdered glass.

                  Nice thing to be smoking:sick0026:

If it was government controlled then these things wouldn't happen & the uk could drag itself out of the deficit with the tax.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not a pot smoker, but I see a lot of things wrong with the way things are.
