Is this wise ?

The lady in the documentary said Sativex did not give a sufficient degree of lasting relief for her.Not strong enough. She was very controlled, lucid of mind and intelligent. She showed no signs of mental deterioration to me,

 

I think a well-balanced, mature & stable person would not be particularly at risk. But some groups of aimless, immature and emotionally unstable people definitely are - a cannabis dependency can easily tip them over the edge into mental illness. But this is only a tendency and many people have no problems.

We used to laugh about cannabis use causing your brain cells to die off. I don't find that idea so funny any more; 30 years later I feel I need all the brain cells I can get.

I am not convinced that they have proven this to be so. Well, no more so than any other toxic substance absorbed by the body over a lifetime.
