Soryy Harry , Eurovision Song Contest is nowt to do with Europe in the political or Brexit sense.

" Eurovision " is a private broadcasting company. It can be broadcast to any country in the World. That is why countries outside of Europe can enter it.

As fot this year I think Austria should have won. I would say that he has a career ahead of him if he can get a good recording deal.

I don't like the winner but I can see why she won with the public vote as she was basically a Meghan Trainor impersonator ( who I don't like ).

I thought The Netherlands (country rock) was great as was Denmark ... very Runrig! Austria was good and should have won over Israel, but ...maybe I am getting old ...

I didn't watch it as I was out (wouldn't have watched it anyway :heehee:) but turned the TV on when I got home and had made a cuppa.

Apparently it was just at the very end of the programme when the winner was performing her song.

If that was a sample of what it's all about then I'm pleased I didn't watch it :noidea:. I must be another oldie as I really didn't understand that as being music and singing  but I certainly admired her energy and enthusiasm.

Yeah, in these days he should have been shot, security was rubbish I guess, as is most things to do with this political load of old codswallop.
