If you want to move house, do you put your house up for sale and then look for a new one, or do you look for a house you want to buy first??

Sounds awful, Strongy. As Shiney says, moving is right up there with the most stressful things you can go through. I hope it all works out. Things usually do, I find ... although not always quite in the way you expect. I haven't quite given up hope of moving to a neighbourhood which isn't quite so ... how should I put this? What's the correct word? Vibrant. That'll do. Yes, I've had quite enough of vibrancy, I think. But I'm not looking forward to the hassle of moving. Alice's story shows that quite a lot of things which we take to be set in stone really depend on people behaving decently towards each other. When they don't, there's often little that you can do, unfortunately.

 

Gemini, I'm living in my eighth house to date. With regards selling and buying it depends on the market. If selling is slow in your area, get your house on the market first. Reverse the advice if selling is fast. You must also take into account whether you think your own house will sell easily. IE. What condition it's in, area etc. Hope that's been of some help.
