Even if you do get credit, you have to repay it back or else the banks reposess

I cannot even get credit .... Everything I buy is paid in cash ....

my credit rating is bad and banks refuse to lend to me ....

I have a savings account and that's it (not much in there and have no credit cards at all) ...

only card I own is a Tesco card that they scan everytime I buy groceries there and I get points and free vouchers once in a while

Even my mobile phone is a 'pay as you go' ... I top up £15 a month with T-mobile and get a special pay as you go package (text and talk 15 package)

There are people which, in order to get the most from life (in shopping terms), just move from one card to the other before repaying too much interest on the previous one and they increase the spending power etc...
So in the end they are probably owning a few ten thousands.

I am sure that something like this it is very possible if one can study the small prints, changing terms and stick to a schedule... but I personally prefer to spend my energies in something else.

    AND ?

That is the way to be, pay as you go, buy what you can afford and do not get DEBT

Only thing you have wrong is When you go to TESCO buy CAVA or TESCO's own champagne NOT DOM PERIGNON

Do not believe all you see, All that glitters is not gold

I know of one "Well orft" couple, they won a bottle of Dom Perignon whilst on our cruise
The label off that bottle has been stuck on so many bottles of CAVA whilst entertaining I would have thought it would have perished by now :heehee:

Times just now are getting very tough and are to be even tougher shortly
    I deal with Benefits
For years it has been shop assistants, barmen losing employment, so they get benefit
The last SIX MONTHS I get calls where Timothy has lost his £100k a year job, Benefit please Sorry it is means tested on annual earnings of less than £18k
Well we are on less than £18k we are now on £65pw Job seekers Allowance and the mortgage is £2k a month, sorry it is taken on Previous tax years earnings unless current tax years earnings are less BUT they are less we only get £65pw now YES BUT you have already earned £50k THIS YEAR, sorry nothing for you Try again in April 2012

This is not one odd case but one or two a month since April and that is just me, there are 5,000 of us
If you have some money then buy property cheaply after Jan because that is when all the repossesions will be taking place
