ITS Raining..!!

No the tree fern is by far the oldest plant I have. Roughly speaking it is between 6 and 7 feet so if you take 6.5 feet as 78inches which constitutes 12" (25years) 66"@ 1" per year = rough guide age of 91.

The large oak sized ones still growing in the wild are much much much older.

I have about 286 years of tree fern. :D

 

BM, I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO THEN WITH MY TREE FERN, MY TREE FERN IS ONLY 1FOOT HIGH.Idread the thought. :D

 

Still 25 years to get to that height fancy! They are actually a bit older than that as i didn't include the foot beneath the soil so that would be 334 years :eek:
