We had rain again early this morning (just stopping when I got up @ 5:30).
Not sure how much there was, we are quite high and seem to have had more rain than friends living nearby - we also have had quite heavy dues most days thorugh out July!
The lawn is starting to get a bit more colour.
    :D

Yep - chucking it down here as I'm typing this morning and has been off and on for the last 24 hours! At least maybe this will stop a few fools with sprinklers at midday on brown grass! ;)

Been pouring here now for 27 hours non-stop - and the wind, you wouldn't believe!

Only thing is, all my gear is out in the garden and my new shed's still empty!!

    Hi Rich

With a bit of luck you will have rain today. It is raining quite heavily, but gently, now and with a bit of luck it may be heading for you - or just come from you.

Not had much rain here, the ground is still bone dry but its only reached 17C today cloudy windy and miserable.
Its amazing the difference a change in wind direction can make to the temperature.

This morning the wind was in the north and although it was brilliantly sunny, it felt refreshing and pleasant. By mid afternoon, the wind changed direction and suddenly the heat came back, although not by quite as much as before.
