My thoughts exactly, poor old tree fern! it is nearly 100 years old and seems have trouble standing at the moment.

 

Horrors, I didn't know it was that old ... you had made some comment about eight years to develop a trunk so I thought perhaps ten or so! :eek: Is it okay? Have you bought many fully-grown trees? Perhaps that's why you're so overgrown after nine / ten years in your house!

My oldest item is my Jade Tree which is about 26 years old ... I'm not counting the almond tree whcih was the only living thing (other than weeds) that came with the property and it's probably a centurian as well.
