only just spotted ur posting UJH. I was too distracted by pops snogging me.
I agree with you entirely.... Remember ear clipping, tail dockingdog baiting all totally acceptable ONCE
    OH
and being a cat lover and as an aside the removal of a cats claws and teeth so it could be shown eating with its paw in a cat food commercial..

I see it, quite interesting. reminded me of that show 'what would happen if humans vanished off the face of the earth' type thing. It said that small dogs like pugs would be the first to go :(

We had a white cat called Arthur - and he used to eat out of a tin if he was allowed to do so - he had all his own teeth and claws. You can train cats to do things like that very easily (especially if they get to eat it, well with mine you can, they all sit before they get their dinner). I posted on a pet forum about the pedigree dogs on BBC1 a week before it was aired - it's now at over 50 pages and almost all those are since the program as shown.

Hopefully the ITV one will be quite a nice program. I've seen the trailers on the itv website and it seems that he's going to other countries as well to look at wild and domesticated dogs. I'll watch anyone on TV if theres cats or dogs as the main subject.

Does anyone watch the Dog Whisperer....its an American prog on Sky, but the guy on it is brilliant. He also has his own pack of about 30 dogs.

He goes round to peoples houses and sorts out the dogs for them...also in a lot of cases he sorts them out them for the dog:thumb:

I've only watched the dog whisperer once, and it put me off watching anymore. He seemed to frighten 2 small dogs, I'm afraid I had to switch over and haven't watched any of his programmes since. It was probably a one off, and I know lots of people swear by his methods.
