Blimey, looks like they'll try to get you every which way - a bit like with motorists!

See that the BBC are REPEATING!!!! the lastest Wallace & Grommit prog today. It was first shown on Christmas Day, unbelievable! (scream, scream).

I must admit I would probably feel different if I had children at home although why they seem to have programmes on 24/7 for them unnerves me somewhat. I'm sick to death of the rubbish that's been on (as in another thread). If only someone could come up with a solution that offers us the choice of what to watch, and no I don't mean ppv. I do believe there is something out there??

    cheers

No, they are BBC. If you have sky or cable, you still get BBC channels, so you still need a licence. To get rid of a licence, you can't have cable or satellite, but as long as your PC does not have a TV card and therefore can't receive live broadcasts, you can watch programs on Iplayer because they are recorded.

I get my broadband and phone from Virgin media. I was looking into an offer on Sky for the phone, TV and broadband, it looked like it would be cheaper for me to pay for all 3 and then just decline the Sky box, but when I looked closely, the bandwidth and size of webspace was puny compared to what I get from Virgin, so I didn't follow it up.
