I've killed a big patch of lawn what can I do?

Yeah it was a bit of a nightmare what seemed to work best was the hand trowel, my weeding tool and a bosch multisaw. I just kept digging with the trowel and the weed thing and then cutting the roots with the multisaw

 

We used the Verdone extra a couple of days ago and nothing much has happened !! We have a wonderful crop of dandelions in both our little front and larger back gardens ... those in the smaller front have keeled over and collapsed but those in the back are still standing to attention !! But at least the grass is OK .... Val

 

I must get round to doing the test patch been busy and been to weymouth today
