Lol the one I sent you was C. Gillesii which is fairly hardy here, Pete has a good size bush.
The flowers are yellow with bright red stamens like strands of wire.
Marley's one is C. Pulcherima and more tropical, I have see the red and yellow ones in Tenerife but they are tender and are even difficult to grow in a green house here, I have never got them to grow over 12 ins. :(

Yes, strongy, I think the seeds you sent were more like the plant I saw in Spain ... I do hope I can get it going in the Spring but our weather is so warm in the daytime and so cool at night and I haven't got a greenhouse, only the outdoor living room.

Marley, I could try cuttings of my Hibiscus to send you or try rooting them first ...

Here is my double peach (ID'd by Fancy Hibiscus in America as Peach Blow) sometimes it's dark coloured, sometimes light ... it also goes between being a single and double ???? ...

... and my latest one, also ID'd by FH, as White Wings ...

Hi there. I'll do what I can but I have to admit I am pretty useless when it comes to propagation. :( It's why I buy fully grown plants here ... that and because they only cost about a fiver (in Euros obviously) each. [IMG]

Seeds ... I'll pass, I am even more useless in this category.

Marley, you shouldn't see geckos at all, they like Chameleons are old world only, the americas etc only have anoles and lizards/iguanas but geckos have been introduced to some coasts in some US and Central American states. [IMG]
The red and white plant, any pics?

But our lady that does brought a couple in from the tree one morning & she cooked us all Saltfish & Akees for breakfast.... I have to say delicious..!!! [IMG] :D This is the time of year they are harvested as these were all green in May..! [IMG] Shall have to wait until next Oct Nov before I can go & pick one as April they will be green ones again!! You have to wait till they are red & have burst open so they are not poisonous..! ;)
