This looks like a good subject and I am really hoping to join in this month!

Couldn't do so for December as TalkTalk didn't deliver Broadband in time for
Christmas and I rang them yesterday to ask when I would get it installed.
They had promised by 21st December when I order it 16th November.

The answer was, yes, it had been ordered but nobody had 'actioned it'

Well, what can you say to that? I am now promised 15th January
but I'm not quite convinced. :D

Agree, nice subject, but I may not participate because of my climate.

I certainly will be eager to see what everyone else does.

LOL - If the quality of your recent photos is anything to go by you ought to be able to come up with something pretty good.

Oh, thank you, Dave W, you are a sweeie. But I'm only learning and am certainly not up to these standards.

Thank you so much for being encouraging! [IMG]

[IMG] Thank you Marge but I think it was the fireworks that were fantastic.

Roders - you only just remember taking the photo...... does this mean you had a good New Year's Eve, then? :D

Looks like your hand was steady enough, though!

We had a quiet night in, doing our traditional Dendy family playing of Pictionary and Monopoly, frequently interrupted by mince pies, drinks, shortbread and sausage rolls! This year it was also interrupted by lots of loud noises before the fireworks, of bits of greenhouse exploding, and things being blown around generally.... it was a wild night!! We had a first footer the next morning - far too wet and windy for anyone to come out at the more traditional time. He didn't have any coal with him, though :(
