[IMG] Thanks to everyone who voted for my pic.
It was strange I had this idea and when I took the pic.(I pass these trees every day)I looked in the viewfinder and gasped,do you know what I mean when you capture exactly what you wanted,I think they say "Nailed It" these days.Just for the record I didnt even have to crop the pic.but I felt the need for a frame.

I have to say I think several others "Nailed It" as well specialy Petal and Jarbax.Such a diverse interpretation of the subject.

After some deliberation I have decided that the subject for the Feb.comp.at this dull time of the year is "February Free For All(Garden and Wildlife related)"That should give us plenty of scope...HAPPY SNAPING..

It is a brilliant photo roders, looks akin to an African Sunset with distant Acacia trees. [IMG] :D

Well done to the winners: three nice pictures very much in line with the theme.
Very pleased with Nathan's choice to have Marley Farley supervising the photo competition...

Very well done everyone! What a super competition - I was hooked to the competition pages - thoroughly enjoying everyone's interpretations of the theme!

I am chuffed to bits to come in third place - thankyou everyone for voting - you've made my day! [IMG] (A couple of folk asked how I took the picture of the fungus in my compost bin - certainly, years of yoga came in handy - it didn't look half as dramatic from above!)

    Looking forward to February's competition!
