January 2007 Photo Competition ............. VOTES

I had no idea this was going to be so difficult!

1. Dave W - A Morning Warming (I just love it!)

2. Glen W - Darkness Returns (Brilliant interpretation, and rich colour)

3. Hornbeam - Out of the Waterlogged Darkness (Appreciate all the dimensions - the tiny ripples make it special!)

(Have to mention the others on my shortlist - BM Midnight Jungle, Platanoides In Reflective Mood, Petal Angelica, Kandy floss Peeping through and Shiney Let the Light Shine In.)

Very difficult to decide,Well done Everyone

 

Hard, very hard

1. Kandyfloss -- Peeping Through (Well caught)
2. Petal -- Most Easterly Dawn (same again well caught)
3. Wise Old Owl -- A Bridge too Far (loved the soft and hard aspect)

 

1) frogesque.....Take 2 (There's nowt darker than deep space where that came from)
2) Rosa............Goan Pig (having first pick of the litter)
3) JarBax..........Jewel in the Compost

And a "Highly Commended for Subtlety" to Mona Lisa's Eiffel By Night. It was so dark I couldn't see it :D

A difficult subject to photograph this month but what a superb and varied selection of interpretations.

I knew early on that it would be difficult selecting from the great pics but not this difficult.

Well done to everyone. Shame I have to choose ---- anyhow here goes,

2. Petel 'Angelica'
3. Mona Lisa ' Eiffel By Night'. A great picture before it disappeared from the page.
