1 - Irmemac - "One lump or two" - I can recall one winter, as a child, when I had one of my own. Enjoyed the humour of it..

2 - SandyGround - "As far as the ice can see" - fits the brief completely: " ... sums up the cold depths of winter". Besides, I've never seen a snow tunnel before!

3 - Trunky - "I'm not really dressed for this" - too true! Made me laugh.

IMHO the most difficult PHOTO COMP so far - Bravo to all of the entries GC folks

1st One Lump Or Two? - Irmemac - Just LUVED IT, This photo stood out for me, simplicity itself with a great title. Each time i viewed the competition it really made me chuckle and captured the consequence of Winter perfectly.How many times past has this happened

2nd "A cold and frosty morning" - Sheal - Sums up winter perfectly, loved the perspective and depth and the contrast in the distance of the warmer pocket of land unaffected by the cold snap.

3rd "White On Yellow" - Armandii- BEEutiful contrast of colour in a winter of white, depicting the chill factor.

3rd............Trunky............Not really dressed for this....Fun pic.and fits the bill.
