@shiney I don't want ones who can swim I want ones that can walk on water! Lack of slaves and freezing temperatures have ensured very slow progress. I have made a start though - the string is there for moral support. It maps outs the area I need to get sorted before I can plant else the cleanup could go on indefinitely. If you can't send slaves could you send some warm weather please March is coming in like a lion here!

I've got a job lot of flu ridden slaves here! Not sure your Customs Officers would let them in. I'll see whether I can drop them by parachute. :ideaIPB:

After all the rain I think the chokes have made an appearance! Looks like I'll be needing a machete to cut back some of this growth.

Noooooooo!!!! Don't cut down their growth!

I've finally found where I stored the photo's of the flowers from my JA's which I thought you may like to see:

This is how a single flower looks (you'll see the resemblance to sunflower and Shy Knees description of a daisy like flower)

              CIMG0028 (768x1024).jpg

And this is how they look at the top of the stem (multi heads)

              CIMG0029 (1024x889).jpg

              They grow quite tall too.

So, don't chop down the foliage ... it is beautiful and the bees love them :spinning:

It's OK I'm not going to touch them it's the rest of the jungle that needs attending to. I'm chuffed to bits they have appeared. :)
