I hope you scrunched and kicked your way through the leaves before you blew them away!

every time someone dies they plant a tree , every year the pupils that leave plant a tree ,
every time they have nothing better to do - thats right they plant a bl**dy tree.

Cleared my back lawn of leaves last Saturday, mainly by hand picking them up on my hands and knees!! because I had loads of those whirly gig things that were stuck into the lawn that wouldn't come up with the rake.

Today it's just as bad :( so I'll be back out there on my next day off.

Raking the lawn to get rid of dead grass with the spring rake really kills the stomach muscles.

Thanks macleaf LOL, I don't think so :D

When we first moved into our house there was a huge one at the bottom of the garden which took up so much space and light, one of our first jobs was to get it cut down...

We have a childrens park bordering on the bottom of our garden which had a dense row of huge leylandi conifers, but thankfully last weekend some workmen cut them all down, letting in yet more light and revealing a row of about three trees which I think must be sycamores :D
