              According to the RSPB a lot of male Robins stay within their own areas and rarely travel far although they reckon that some female Robins fly down to the far South of Spain and even into Portugal to spend their winter holidays.:biggrin: You will find that some of the Starlings,Blackbirds,Lapwings etc that you see in your gardens or fields are not British birds but are European birds that come here in the winter months because it is too cold to spend the winters in their own country so they migrate up to our country where it is warmer,and some of our blackbirds,starlings,kingfishers etc will fly to the coasts especially the Southern parts of the UK as the climate is warmer than areas of the country they normally live:smile:
