          Looking good :blue thumb:

Rhubarb should be showing by now. Don't think it would be in the grassed area

Got my onion sets planted this weekend. I was going to do it a week ago but the soil was too wet and lumpy. After a dry sunny(ish) week it wasn't perfect and took a lot of work to break down with a rake, the soil is much heavier than at home - I'm not used to that.

I have no idea how, but I seem to have missed this thread completely!

Congratulations John, you have got a great plot there, complete with crops straight away, some fruit canes and raised beds to work with. A definite good start.

              And real pumpkin space too!

              Steve...:)

Went to check on the wind damage from the recent gales, all was OK. Found these, more bulbs are coming too:

                    Hiya John.

How's it going? You reckon you'll be able to utilise the whole plot this year?

Nice one John, I'll be keeping an eye on your progress!
That's what I've just done with mine and also added some well rotted compost, glad to hear other people do it too!

Very slowly Freddy, I've cleared a couple of beds and planted onion sets so far. It's too wet and claggy to do much else at the moment. The soil is clay and is taking a while to dry out and break down. Hoping to plant my spuds this weekend if the weather allows.
