    I love this dahlia, not only for its flower, but its dark almost purple foliage.

    Pete I loved your water picture, the contrast between the weed and the water.

    I do have a couple of pineapple lily's but no and not an artichoke either...
    thought I better state what it is before too many replies come in
    as this is supposed to be a thread for photo's (sorry nathan)

    Its the tip of a monkey puzzle branch!

    Ok here goes - Canna in early morning sun. Quality not great as don't have a very sophisticated digital (The other way seems quite pre-historic now!!! ;) )
