    Exactly shiney

I was raised that no matter whether you have a womens private parts or a mans private parts

It shouldnt dictate what you can and cant do (apart from pregnancy and child birth since men cant do that biologically)

And it also shouldn't dictate what you should and shouldn't do

Which is how i live my life and i was the only girl on the ruby team in junior school and always played football with the lads at play time too

They are sports as far as I'm concerned not male or female sports just sports

Drives me mad at the moment in the dating world apparently because im a girl its weird i like call of duty and grime

Tbh i just thought they were computer games and music didnt realise they were only a male thing

I find the whole concept very daft and silly

Yes, this is different again as she is actually competing against the men and not against her own sex.

      Why wouldnt you want to?

Getting muddy is brilliant fun! Its one of the best things about rugby

I remember when i use to play getting home and the mud had soaked through two sets of joggers and my underwear and i was covered

That was a good rugby practice that night

not wanting to get muddy isnt a male or female thing tho

its a person thing. you are either a person who thinks its fun and doesn't mind at all or someone who thinks its disgusting and the worst thing ever or somewhere in the middle and your not bothered either way

nothing to do with what sex you are tho

Can't work out why a bloke would want to either.

Back in middle school the boys got to play football while the girls played rounders.

At the start of the lesson, most of the boys headed off towards the football pitch except my 3 mates and me, we started following the girls.

Teacher asked where we were going, I said we were going to play rounders. The teacher was just about to come out with something like, but you can't you're boys, but realised who she was up against & thought better of it :snork:

Nope Val i personally think thats rubbish

its only perceived that way because of how society has constructed the views on how a girl should be and how a boy should be

there are plenty of women who play muddy sports and do muddy jobs as there are women who worry about their hair, nails and clothes

the same can be said for men there are plenty of guys these days who dont want to mess up their fake tan and hair with mud or even rain lol

its just down to the person and personality

i have always been a lets get stuck in and get dirty person. I was the toddler that was always covered in food and mud and the minute my mum put clothes on me i was dirty and messy. I grew up with a girl who looks very similar to me but she was always pristine didnt get dirty, her clothes were always looking beautiful and she wouldn't get any food on her or get dirty at all.

          its just personality types

I'm not surprised that they walked off, men have already lost their pubs and clubs, now women are encroaching on what used to be male dominated jobs and even showing that they can sometimes do it better than their male counterparts. We shall have women hod carriers soon :heehee: and why not let them dig up the roads with a pneumatic drill??
it is this sort of thinking which has led to unisex toilets and unisex hospital wards. :old:

I used to know a lady that was informally and unofficially recruited at a nightclub as additional security. She wasn't officially on the books but she'd get free drinks in exchange for helping out when needed. She was only about 5 ft tall and very slim built. Yet I saw her eject many a disruptive gentleman from the premises. In fact on one occassion, no joke, I thought she's had it. A group of men, not boys, men, men with no morals or principles, converged on her all at once. Its the first time I've ever seen a 6ft bloke flipped upside down by just his wrist. There was just this blonde blur in the middle of several falling men. They were all on the floor between the fight breaking out and the bouncers coming over, so this little feminine woman thing that shouldn't be doing things like that had taken maybe 30 seconds to defeat and subdue half a dozen grown male assailants. And after it, she just kind of wandered off unscathed.

At my school the boys played rugby and football, the girls played hockey. I can assure you we got every bit as muddy and probably more battered and bruised than the boys. Those hockey sticks were lethal!
